Curd:- In Hindu religion, curd is considered very auspicious. It is used in the worship of any deities & favour for luck. It has great importance since ancient times. It has scientific significance along with its religious significance. Vedic Hindus used milk and other dairy products without any hesitation. Vedic Hindus used madhuparka, a mixture of curd and honey. This was offered to honoured guests and distinguished visitors “rtviks, Acharya, bridegroom, king and someone who is dear to one.how it is helpful in our life, know about this. if you have it in every meal, you are a good care taker of your body. it works in the following way :-


  • Troubleshooter of stomach     
  • Improve digestion :- The probiotics in curd helps proper functioning of digestive system. Yogurt is easy to digest and can be consumed by those who are lactose intolerant as lactose is broken down during the fermentation process.

    difference between curd and yogurt-



       Curd:- Curd is a dairy product obtained by curdling with an                         edible acidic substance such as lemon juice or vinegar,                      and then draining off the liquid portion.

       Yogurt:-   Yogurt is a dairy product that is created by bacterial                           fermentation of milk using ‘yogurt cultures’.The                               bacteria causes fermentation of lactose and produce                            lactic acid.


    How to make homemade curd in easy steps  

    • Take one liter of fresh milk
    • Boiled and stir
    • Check temperature with your finger if your finger feel comfortable temperature that means it is ready to mix a small amount of curd. 
    • Milk, pour in a pot (use any type of container but pot is best for curdling).
    • Mix about 50 g curd in stir milk
    • Keep it in a dark place and don't touch till eight hours.    
    • After eight hours curd is ready to serve.
    • It is a natural way to curdling.   
    If starter (curd) is not available, use two spoon lemon juice in a bowl and take about 100 - 200 g Luke warm milk. after 10- 12 hours starter is ready to use for curdling.

    Sweet Dish (yellow curd) :-

    Ingredients:-
    • fresh plain curd     250g
    • saffron                 5-6 
    • sugar/honey         100g/50g
    • cherry                  1-2
    • mint leaf               1-2
    Method:-
    • Blend fresh curd for 2-3 minutes 
    • mix sugar powder/honey in blended curd
    • pour it in a soil pot
    • sprink saffron on curd
    • and decorate with cherry and mint leaf
    • freeze it 20-30 minutes
    it is ready to serve.
